    OUR PROGRAM:

    Reasonable Accommodation Pitfalls

Join us on Thursday, May 15, 2025, for an engaging hybrid event at the Shasta College Community Leadership Center in downtown Redding—or attend virtually via Zoom.

Reasonable Accommodation Pitfalls will focus on educating employers about their obligations and potential liabilities related to reasonable accommodations in the workplace. We will discuss the increasing complexities and legal requirements that employers face when accommodating employees with disabilities or other protected characteristics.

Key topics include understanding the legal framework of reasonable accommodation under federal and state laws, navigating the interactive process with employees, identifying common pitfalls and compliance risks, and strategies for effectively managing accommodation requests to mitigate legal exposure.

This program aims to equip HR professionals and employers with practical insights and best practices to ensure compliance while promoting inclusivity and fairness in the workplace.

Our IN-PERSON event will be held at Shasta College's Community Leadership Center 2nd Floor, at 1401 California Street in downtown Redding.

    • In-Person lunch and meet begins at 11:30am
    • Program begins at 12noon in-person and Zoom
    • Zoom will be sent upon registration
